About Cancelmo CPA LLC

Owner Joanne Cancelmo has over thirty years of public accounting experience, combined with more than fifteen years working as a controller and then CFO and VP of Administration for a central Massachusetts independent insurance agency. This has given her a unique blend of experiences that enable her to relate to day-to-day issues in small business as well as how these relate to governmental and tax issues.

When Roland Gauthier, CPA, considered retiring from his well-established and highly regarded accounting firm, there was no better person to take the reins and continue his high standard of quality services than Joanne Cancelmo. She worked for Roland starting in 1993 and already knew many of his clients when she became the owner. Cancelmo CPA LLC was thus established in 2018. Since then, Cancelmo CPA LLC has acquired three additional practices.
